As an “Employer of the Future”, awarded by the German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalisation, we are looking for a dedicated Technical Manager for our Ibiza/Mallorca office during our growth and steadily increasing number of projects.

Your tasks

  • Processing of urban planning files: planning, management, permits, and activities.
  • Monitoring of administrative procedures related to our projects in Mallorca and Ibiza.
  • Drafting reports and opinions
  • Drafting projects for new builds, renovations, rehabilitations, and urban development.
  • Management of habitability certificates and Energy Efficiency Certificates.
  • Knowledge of sector-specific regulations.
  • Assistance and support to construction teams, including architects, engineers, and technical staff.
  • Search and initial evaluation of land and technical reports.
  • Monitoring the feasibility of projects.
  • Drafting urban planning documents and submitting them to local authorities for project and building permit approvals.
  • Supervision and management of construction work, ensuring compliance with technical and legal specifications.
  • Planning and quality control of construction works.
  • Valuation and budget reports.

Your profile

  • University degree in Architecture, Technical Architecture, Building Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a similar position within the construction sector, preferably in high-quality real estate projects in Spain and/or the Balearic Islands.
  • Experience working with public administrations and municipalities, or in architecture firms that have collaborated with competent authorities.
  • Experience in dealing with competent authorities regarding construction, environmental regulations, and the processing of building permits, activity permits, and other permits.
  • Knowledge of the territory and urban planning regulations applicable in the municipalities of Mallorca and Ibiza.
  • Knowledge of regional regulations in the Balearic Islands and national urban planning laws.
  • Ability to manage documentation and procedures with municipalities and public bodies related to urban planning and construction.
  • Experience in processing and complying with environmental regulations applicable to projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and measurement software (Presto/Arquimedes).
  • Strong teamwork skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of German and English is highly valued.
  • Residence in Mallorca/Ibiza and availability to travel.
